a number of lifestyle changes to avoid these triggers can greatly reduce the number

recommended lifestyle changes. It is important to find your personal triggers
and adjust your lifestyle accordingly to prevent aggravating the condition.
- Probably the most important change you can make
is to avoid exposure to the sun. If you must be exposed to the sun, use a non-irritating
sunscreen whenever possible.
- Extremes of heat or cold
is a common for many sufferers. Hot showers, baths and even warm rooms can cause
problems. Exposure to cold winds is also a trigger for many people.
- Food
and drinks can induce Rosacea symptoms and these should be avoided when necessary.
Common problem foods and drinks include spicy foods and dairy products. Hot drinks
can also trigger a Rosacea reaction and some sufferers should also avoid alcohol.
- Tobacco
products are stimulants and are not recommended. Smoking also damages blood vessels
which may worsen symptoms.
- Take care of your skin and
choose skin products carefully. Only very mild products without perfumes, colors,
alcohol and other additives should be used on your face.
- Avoid
stressful situations as this can trigger a Rosacea flare-up.
- Moderate,
rather than hard exercise may be preferable.
